About Us
Our Beginnings
Timber Buddy's founder, Ben, operated a band saw mill in his teenage years, and along with honing a knowledge of designing and fabrication, planted the seed and started the dream of creating high quality, reliable sawmills and other machines. We first opened our shop in 2012, starting with custom metal fabrication and repairs. We also built custom equipment in our own old farm-shop.
Switch to Sawmills
By 2018, the industry was calling for a better machine. After careful planning and development, we made the switch to manufacturing band sawmills. We started with our XP380 Hydraulic Sawmill, which is still our best seller to this day.
